Another blast from the past, here’s the AGE-2 Magnum that I built back in 2018. I think it was like the 3rd or 4th kit I built when I first started using lacquer paint. It’s been so long that I actually forgot my paint mixes for the purple and orange, another reminder to myself to always write it down within a reasonable time-frame. Anwyay I put this one off for so long because I wanted to do something cool with the funnels but lacked the motivation to get enough action bases to support them all.
I really love the design of this MS, lots of sharp edges and the colours remind me of the EXExbein from Super Robot Wars. The Phoenix mode also looks especially great, this was the first time I’ve ever transformed any Gunpla and it was not as bad of a an experience as I thought it would be.

Please note that I painted this kit almost 2 years ago and these mixes are from memory. The purple / orange in particular may not be correct
White– Grey base coat, followed by Mr Color GX Cool White for highlight effect.
Purple – Mr Color Purple + bit of blue. White added for highlights
Orange – Orange base coat, followed by Orange + Orange Yellow + white for highlights
Yellow – Orange base coat, Starter white technique, followed by coat of Orange Yellow (80%) + Yellow (20%). White added for highlights
